People in Restaurants and Cafes - An exhibition in the dining room of paintings

"One of my pleasures of eating in a restaurant is the opportunity I have of observing my fellow diners. Their body language, as much as their facial expressions, tells me stories about them."

Of course the stories are probably untrue, but it doesn't matter. It is entertainment - and I suspect that everyone who eats out also observes, as well as being observed. I make quick drawings of what I see, then go home and paint pictures from my sketches"
